I rigged up the 8.5 and went out on the longboard as the wind was the wind was light.I beat the length of Felixstowe in light winds thinking I should have rigged 9.4!!! I sailed across the Orwell river mouth in very choppy seas and right across Dovercourt Bay where the wind increased to 15 kts and I had a good reach back to Landguard where the wind went light again,it did'nt pick up again till I was nearly back to the Dip!!! I had afew full blasing run still on the cat as I could not be bothered to untie another board.A great sunny day to be on the water and out with afew mates.
